Teaching Morality and Ethics Would Save America's Failing Education System

The CDC conducted the study 2007 – 2017 Youth Risk Behavior Survey and here are a few highlights.

“The Talk”

Teens’ experiences with sex are changing for better over that decade: ”Fewer are initiating sex, fewer are currently sexually active, they’re having fewer partners, and they’re using more effective hormonal birth control methods.” The only one bad news for that year was recent decline in condom use.

In 2007, 61.5 percent of teens said they’d used a condom during their last sexual encounter. By the year of 2017, that rate had dropped to 53.8 percent. It might be related to a decrease over time in requirements for the school to cover HIV and [sexually transmitted diseases] in their health education programs.

According to the report, young people aged 15-24 account for half of the roughly 20 million new STDs reported each year.

More than one in 10 young women (11.3 percent) reported being forced to have sex.“Sex education is about life skills,” said Elizabeth Nash, senior state issues manager at the Guttmacher Institute. “There are so many aspects you take with you for the rest of your life, but you only get it once or twice in school."

However, public schools are the best opportunity for adolescents to access formal information. Of course, many young students pick up sexual health information from sources other than school — parents, peers, medical professionals, social media and pop culture.

Comprehensive sex ed goes beyond the biophysical aspects. “It’s about focusing on the emotional, psychosocial and economic impacts of what happens when youth and adolescents engage in sexual intercourse and other sexual practices,”“It’s hard to get legislators behind comprehensive sex ed. In recent years, states have begun to mandate sex ed to include information about life skills for family communication, avoiding coercion and making healthy decisions.

“There are rewards and consequences to our behavior at every age across the lifespan,” she said. “We can’t always assume that an adolescent will wait to become an adult before making adult decisions. In areas where sex ed isn’t required, states can assume that parents will educate their children at home, but studies show that adolescents are increasingly more likely to seek information from social media and online communities, which can be more inclusive of gender and sexual minorities, but not consistently reliable for medical accuracy. Granger said assigning responsibility for “The Talk” is part of the problem that leaves teens uninformed.

Did you know - sexually active guys are called studs and girls are called tramps, some young women who choose to have sex may drink in order to minimise social consequences by blaming alcohol. The girls are well aware that if they “hook up with someone when totally sober they are more likely to be slut-shamed or to have people be terrible to them about their sexuality.” Adults can look for opportunities to rectify this sexist and dangerous imbalance. For example, if we hear teenagers talking about girls who have drunken sex, or peers who use terms such as whore or slut, we should ask, “Why is it OK only for guys to hook up?” and “Why do girls alone have to worry they’ll get bad press if they have sober sex?”

Society fails young generation over and over.

In today’s world he can get you pregnant and disappear. Sometimes with the reasoning – we both were young and in love, but i was not ready to become a father. And that is because young women are neither being watched out by their parents nor being educated on the subject. Young women in schools are not being taught that there is a man out there and you most likely will end up with one of them. And it is a duty of schools and society to teach not about contraception methods and fear mongering with STDs . This sets her for false belief that she is empowered from now on and she can now go and explore her sexuality (aka “how to up bring the whore”). It also gives men an opportunity to fuck as many women as they want. Finally. Schools and parents basically saying a word of wisdom to young generation – here is a condom and you are now prepared for life.

That is why you end up in the situation where you wanted sex and he was up to it but he never wanted a child or getting his own place. You wanted a child so here you go and you are welcome. “There are so many horny women out there who need my help in satisfying their sexual desire!” – he told her. And that is the spirit today! Man thinks his job is to provide for himself, take good care of himself, date women and give them the best sex of their life.

Dating is just a formality that is not even needed in most cases because women see how hot he is, what a great body he has – so they want to skip the formality and get down to business. Because she is horny and he is hot as hell! He knows one thing about himself – he makes every woman wet. And that is the absolute truth based on his own experience. But very unfortunate one.

All women have those high moral standards at birth to be loyal, to give love, to receive protection, to give birth to a child, to take care of the family – those values were built in us by the evolution. So evolution preserved the survival of mankind in women. A baby – even male gender would not survive without women taking care of him full time. We are the ones who want kids. Men want to fuck, fight, have a locker room talk bragging about how many women they screwed.

First, let’s begin by clearing up these misconceptions about these services that Planned Parenthood offers. For one, Planned Parenthood is not only for women. It’s for men too. And it’s not all abortions. It’s really generally not abortions. Planned Parenthood offers good, affordable healthcare to 5 million patients a year… services like screening and treatment for STDs, contraception and family planning, chest tests, and cervical cancer screenings. Now that we’ve passed that up, back to Planned Parenthood. Many of us have tried out their services at some point in our lives, but even if you haven’t , you get a mother, girl, baby, friend, or neighbour who has. As women, it’s our duty to stand one another and ensure that the establishment exists in for those millions who do rely on it.

The matter is, pro-choice or pro-life, abortions want to be minimized, but in the correct direction. Minimizing abortions is not about keeping women from getting abortions. It’s about keeping the need for making an abortion. According to the World Health Organization, abortion rates are similar in states where this process is legal and in states where it is not, due to unavailability of advanced contraceptives in countries where abortion is illegal. What we want is better healthcare laws and facilities, good and economic preventive methods for the masses, right sex education in schools, accessibility of family planning alternatives to the common folk, and also to understand the importance of making responsible sex, because abortion is not only about the choice you make now, it’s also about the choices you made.

Mental Health

Perhaps the biggest red flags were in the section devoted to mental health.Roughly a third of teens surveyed said they’d experienced persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness.“I think that’s really significant and certainly not what we want to see if we’re trying to send our kids into adulthood in the most healthy way.”The news is even worse for students who identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual. Nearly two-thirds reported persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness.

In fact, in every category, LGB teens were at higher risk than their heterosexual classmates. They were twice as likely to report being bullied in school or electronically, three times as likely to seriously consider suicide and four times as likely to attempt suicide.“It’s shocking and alarming and tells us that things are terribly wrong,” says Ellen Kahn, director of the Children, Youth & Families program at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. “We seriously need to address this."

Liberal moral standards.

In America, not everyone considers the fundamental moral truths of the ”self-evident” Modern” liberal, which rejects absolute moral standards, has abandoned the proper order of the fundamental rights of man. The moral confusion of liberty over the holiness of human life and the vital importance of the traditional family has changed American law and society. Films, television, music and the Internet bomb young people with cultural messages of sexual revolution and self-absorbed materialism, which corrupts their good moral character and kind human nature.

Essentially, morality becomes universal when you define everything else that is different in terms of morality that removes all the small but significant boundaries in definitions. Morality is the root of many important things about life, simply because morality is actions and behaviours that lead to good health and well-being of individuals and communities. Morality is therefore the basis of law, survival, religion, government, fraternity, fraternity, education, science, marriage and anything that concerns life. However, the law is not necessarily the same as morality, but there are many moral rules that are not governed by human legal authorities.

When asked about what was wrong with moral values, many americans reacted by talking about the lack of consideration of others, the lack of compassion, personal responsibility, respect and tolerance of greed, selfishness, dishonesty - in addition to things such as the change in family structure, the lack of religion, the lack of morality (a certain sense of thought). One can argue that the Founding Fathers did not always agree with their interpretation of such religion, but the vast majority of them drew their moral and ethical guidelines from the Ten Commandments and the teachings and examples of Jesus. Politics is simply a reflection of the moral and ethical principles of society at large. There is something in human nature that works at a deeper level than the mere theological faith, and it is that it serves as the real reason for moral behaviour. I hope it will wake up one day.
